Life Perspective

Growing up in a small, tight-knit community, I learned the importance of strong relationships, loyalty, and a sense of belonging from a young age. Raised alongside my parents, younger sister, and our family dog, I developed an appreciation for the values of family, friendship, and community—values that continue to guide me in both my personal and professional life.

As a child, I was always active and driven by adventure. Whether it was exploring the outdoors or tackling new challenges, I thrived on the excitement of discovering new things. This sense of curiosity and drive has stayed with me, leading me to a career where I can continuously grow, solve problems, and help others achieve their dreams.

During my teen years, I discovered my love for sports—a passion that would shape not just my personal life but my professional one as well. Playing sports taught me the value of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. The competitive spirit and desire to be part of a winning team became ingrained in me, driving my ambition to always give my best and push through obstacles. These lessons in determination and collaboration are qualities I carry with me in my real estate career today. Every transaction, much like a game, requires strategy, cooperation, and focus on the ultimate goal: success for my clients.

After high school, I followed my passion for animals and pursued a degree in Biology at Simon Fraser University, aiming for a career as a veterinarian. But as much as I loved animals, my urge to see the world grew stronger. I realized that life had more to offer beyond the walls of vet school, so I decided to put my plans on hold and embark on an adventure. Traveling the globe with friends was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Those years of exploration, new cultures, and unforgettable memories broadened my perspective and deepened my appreciation for the connections we make with others.

In 2020, life took an unexpected turn when I was involved in a car accident that changed everything. It was a devastating and life-altering experience, but during the darkest days, it was my beloved dog Georgie who was my rock. His unconditional love and companionship helped me through a time I never thought I’d make it through. Tragically, Georgie passed away at just 2 years old, leaving an unfillable hole in my heart. Yet, through the pain, I found strength, and I realized that even in the darkest times, we can find light—sometimes from the smallest moments, like a wagging tail or a shared smile.

Today, I’m lucky to have Georgie’s little brother, Joey, who fills my life with joy, laughter, and the same sense of companionship that got me through the hardest times. He’s a reminder that even after loss, life continues, and there’s always a reason to keep moving forward.

These experiences—both the joyous and the heartbreaking—have shaped me into who I am today. I’ve learned the importance of resilience, the power of human connection, and the strength that comes from trusting others. It’s these lessons that I bring to my real estate practice. I understand the challenges that come with major life transitions, and I’m here to guide you through them with patience, empathy, and an unwavering commitment to your needs.

Whether you’re buying your first home, selling to start a new chapter, or looking for investment opportunities, I’m here to bring you the same sense of adventure, trust, and care that shaped me growing up. Real estate is more than a transaction to me—it’s about helping you find a place where you can create memories and build your own legacy.
